2025-26 School Year OSSE Calendar Guidance and Key Links

The below guidance and links apply to the instructional day for school year 2025-26 school calendars. All inquiries regarding this guidance should be directed to [email protected].

Instructional Day and Distance Learning Guidance

New in SY2025-26: Calendar Submission for Compliance Review
Regular SY25-26 instructional day calendars are due in eSchoolPLUS by June 24, 2025. LEAs must submit their SY25-26 regular instructional day calendars for compliance review to OSSE no later than July 1, 2025. They may do so in the Instructional Day Calendar Compliance sheet in the SY25-26 Data Validation . Full instructions can be found in the Data Validation Technical Guide found in the SY25-26 Data Validation QLIK application sheet.

Attendance and Calendars Waivers

Schools and local education agencies (LEAs) may apply for three instructional day waivers for school year 2025-26:

  • Waiver to Exceed Five Situational Distance Learning Days
  • Half-Day Waiver
  • Waiver to Reduce Instructional Time for Extraordinary Operational Conditions
