July 2025 HIT Provider Showcase (Recording)
On July 1, 2025, OSSE hosted a HIT Provider Showcase. Twenty-four organizations gave brief presentations their tutoring program models and evidence of effectiveness. All organizations have history of working in DC schools, and/or have undertaken a research study of their program, but may not have experience working with OSSE directly.

This directory provides key information about the tutoring providers that OSSE is partnering with for the FY26 school year, including a program overview, subject areas and grade levels served, tutoring modality (in-person or virtual), group size, curriculum used, and evidence of impact. The directory also includes points of contact to support LEAs and schools in selecting tutoring partners that best meet their students’ needs. This directory is for informational purposes only and does not indicate OSSE HIT program funding availability.
CSC has deep expertise in catalyzing high-impact tutoring, improving well-being and accelerating academic performance for thousands of students. CSC serves as a strategic partner for OSSE and provides a variety of supports including HIT technical assistance, monitoring, and sustainability planning.

OSSE and (CSC) created a cost calculator tool to support LEA and school leaders with estimating the cost of implementing various HIT program models to meet the needs of their students.
CSC partnered with OSSE, DC Public Schools, and experienced local educators to develop math tutoring lessons for in grades three through eight to support the implementation of high-impact tutoring (HIT) across the District. These lessons are aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and are created for the growing pool of tutors who are not trained teachers or have limited math content knowledge.
