Technical Assistance Session I: Incident Reporting Requirement for Nonpublic Schools

In the 2018-19 school year, the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) introduced a new incident reporting requirement. To ensure a smooth start to the 2020-21 school year, OSSE conducted two webinars (Sept. 14 & 16, 2020) for local education agencies and nonpublic school staff who interact with District students in nonpublic school settings to review incident reporting for nonpublic schools (day and residential). The trainings included in-depth review of the incident reporting monitoring process, a review of the District of Columbia requirements pertaining to incident reporting, one-on-one technical assistance, and updates on requirements related to reporting in light of COVID-19.
