Career and Technical Education Providers

Access to Career and Technical Education (CTE) resources is essential for subgrantees to develop and sustain high-quality, equitable CTE programming that aligns with both local and federal requirements. Resources such as the 4-Year DC CTE State Plan, DC’s CTE Perkins State Determined Performance Level (SDPL) outcomes, and other CTE artifacts provide guidance on program development, implementation, and accountability, ensuring transparency and consistency across the education system. By leveraging these critical CTE materials, subgrantees will be better able to streamline virtual content planning, integrate industry-specific learning opportunities, and align their programs with workforce demands, ensuring that students graduate prepared for success in today’s competitive job market.
OSSE offers the following resources for schools, LEAs, and IHEs providing Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in DC.

  • Local Education Agency Technical Guidance on CTE Course Equivalency
  • ACTE Quality CTE Program of Study Framework
  • DC 2024 CTE 4-Year State Plan
  • 2025 – 2028 SDPL
  • SY23/24 SDPL Outcomes
  • OSSE Approved DC CTE Programs of Study Matrix

For more information about the CTE programs of study in the District, please contact the State CTE Director, Clifton Martin at [email protected] or (202) 794-3594.
